Mature Sheng Pu Erh made from the leaves of large tea trees.
The dry leaf is deep brown with reddish specks and pressed into a medium-density tea cake. The aroma is dry, slightly spicy, woody, with notes of dusty old books and parchment. The heated leaf reveals notes of damp earth, wood and dried mushrooms. The taste is soft and balanced: you can feel nuts, prunes, and a mushroom note.
Tea for calm, thoughtful, meditative research.
