Sheng Pu Erh Yun Mei Chun, AAA, 2007

Medium-density tea cake. When warmed by breath, the dry leaf emits an aroma of dried fruit, hay and herbarium.

The infusion is transparent, amber in colour. After the first pour, the aroma reveals the bright sweetness of flowers and ripe fruit, with a hint of honey. The taste is soft, juicy and bright. The sweetness of melon, peach, dried apricots, dried pears and lilac. The tartness of grapefruit, mint and meadow flowers. When brewed strong, a pleasant astringency appears, like persimmon. The aftertaste is of dried fruit compote, slightly drying the mouth.

The effect is strong and intoxicating.
