One of the best oolongs from the Wuyi region.
Large, elongated, twisted dry tea leaves with a chocolate-purple hue and a rich, warming aroma. The aroma is spicy and tart, with notes of cinnamon, pepper, bay leaf, ripe plum, and leather.
The infusion is dark golden in colour with reddish highlights and distinct notes of cinnamon in the aroma. The taste is delicate and refreshing, soft and sweet, with notes of honey, fruit, cream and a slight spiciness. The aftertaste is long, complex, pleasantly viscous and spicy.
The perfect tea for calm, thoughtful, meditative tea drinking, but also well suited as a morning tea. It warms, invigorates and focuses the mind.
