Shui Xian is an oolong tea from Wuyishan in Fujian Province. The tea was hand-picked, then subjected to classic processing (drying, shaking, fermentation, rolling, shaking, heating) and heated three times over charcoal.
The aroma is rich and multifaceted, with notes of dried fruit, flowers, honey, chocolate and smoke. The infusion is golden in colour. The taste is balanced, tart, dense and sweet, with notes of chocolate, dried berries and floral undertones. Subsequent infusions reveal smoky and nutty notes.
The tea gently invigorates and brings the mind into balance. It is good as an evening tea to help you unwind after a hard day.
