The large balls of dark brown color smell of burnt caramel, coffee and tobacco. When brewed, the tea develops a thick aroma of chocolate, plummy acidity and a smoky-spicy note. The infusion is yellow-brown, tart and sweet.

A mature, aged Taiwanese oolong.

Medium black balls smell like melted milk when heated with the breath. When heated gaiwan, the leaves give off an aroma of cognac and dark chocolate. The infusion is cognac-colored, viscous tasting, soft, coffee-chocolatey, with sweet creamy caramel. Each pour reveals new aspects of the tea: nutmeg, vanilla, baked goods combine wonderfully with the mild bitterness of good tobacco, coriander and smoke. The aftertaste is long, slightly tart, sweet.

A very fragrant, enchanting oolong — like from the fairy tales of the Book of a Thousand and One Nights.
