Appearance
The leaves are rolled into uniform, almost spherical dark green and brown pearls with short golden stems. The aroma is delicate, sweet and sour, fruity and confectionery: apple, lemon, raspberry, biscuit. When warmed by breath, the aroma becomes sweeter, honey-like, like shortbread with a slight caramel note.
Taste and aroma
The infusion is oily, greenish-golden in colour. The aroma is filled with creamy caramel and iris notes, sweet, slightly spicy, with a hint of vanilla. The taste is juicy, bright, full-bodied, with a slight apple-peach sourness, bright fruity-confectionery tones and a subtle tartness. The steamed leaf is brown-copper in colour and smells of raspberries and blackberries, something forest-like and slightly resinous. The aftertaste is vanilla-fruity, delicate but persistent.
Effect
The tea gently calms, grounds and balances the mood. It helps to gather your thoughts, but does not advise rushing: the tea is suitable for leisurely work in the afternoon or for evening tea drinking. Careful heating gives it a bright flavour and aroma palette, making this variety ideal for ceremonies. For lovers of medium-heated aromatic oolongs and fans of soothing tea.
