High-altitude tea Te Guan Yin, produced in the village of Xianghua in Fujian Province. The tea plantations are located at an altitude of over 1,000 metres above sea level: temperature fluctuations slow down the development of tea leaves, allowing them to accumulate more nutrients and develop more complex flavours and aromas.

The hemispherical knots of the tea leaves are bright green and emerald in colour. The aroma of the dry leaf is classic for Tieguanyin: lilac, jasmine, fresh herbs and citrus. The taste of the finished tea is oily, fresh and floral, with notes of wood, caramel, honey, citrus and fruit. The aftertaste is enveloping, with a slight sourness.

It is wonderfully refreshing and puts you in a creative mood. Suitable for both morning tea and quiet evening gatherings.
