The flavour is pleasant, slightly bitter, with notes of bark, tree resin and raw forest earth, with sweet notes of chamomile, nuts and chocolate. The aftertaste is earthy and woody, tannin.

Aged Hei Cha tea from Guangxi province.

The raw material for this tea is harvested from old trees, and after all stages of production, the tea undergoes a long (several years) aging and maturation process. The older the tea, the more pronounced its flavour will be. As the tea ages, it becomes softer, with more buttery and creamy flavours.

The raw tea can be easily disassembled by hand into black leaves with golden flecks. The aroma is muted, earthy, reminiscent of Shu Pu Erh The infusion is thick, dark brown, with woody, slightly chocolatey tones. The flavour is pleasant, slightly bitter, with notes of bark, tree resin and raw forest earth, with sweet notes of chamomile, nuts and chocolate. The aftertaste is earthy and woody, tannin.

A tea with a prolonged action: first stimulating, then gently calming, concentrating, restoring the balance of body and mind. Good for slow, meditative tea drinking.
