Medium-sized black matte castings. When warmed by breath, the aroma of dried fruit, bath brooms, yellowed books and chocolate can be detected.
The infusion is dark, dense, brown-ruby in colour. The aroma intensifies, becoming sweeter, with more chocolate and nuts. The soft, slightly rough texture of the tea immediately reminds one of an old but warm blanket. At the bottom of the bowl, there is an aroma of berry jam. The sweetness of peanuts, liquorice, bread crust, raisins, prunes, cocoa, and a little hay. The soft bitterness of paper, tree resin and rotten leaves. The slight sourness of mint and dry mandarin peel.
The tea gives a moderate boost, warms and refreshes. Suitable for both morning and evening. Has a beneficial effect on the digestive system.
