GABA Tea
GABA tea is tea that has undergone fermentation in anaerobic conditions (without oxygen), resulting in an increased content of gamma-aminobutyric acid.
The technology for producing this tea was developed in Japan in the late 1980s. It is believed that the tea stimulates blood flow in the brain, increases brain activity and regulates metabolism, alleviates symptoms of insomnia, anxiety and depression, and relieves symptoms of alcohol intoxication.
Initially, only oolong teas were subjected to oxygen-free fermentation technology, but now it has spread to other types of tea.
