Red tea from wild trees is one of the unique creations of the project "Tea Forest of Thailand" by the Moychay team. It is made from large leaves of old wild trees, carefully dried in the sun and tightly pressed into a tea cake.
The aroma of the dry leaf is sweetish, with a slight fruity sourness and smoky-woody notes. The heated leaf acquires a distinct and bright aroma, revealing sweetness, acidity and a mixture of fruity and berry notes - blueberries, red currants, cranberries.
The infusion is thick and opaque, with a fruity and berry taste and woody-smoky notes. With infusions, notes of gooseberry, coconut, lychee, mangosteen and cardamom appear, as well as subtle floral shades. With strong and long brewing, the tea acquires almost Pu Erh notes.
