Red tea from the village of Bailin, Fujian Province. White tea is also made here from the same leaves, which is why Bai Lin Gongfu Hong has a dried fruit aroma similar to white teas. Harvested in April 2024. Consists of thin black leaves and golden downy buds.
The infusion is a bright amber colour with aromas of plum, black bread and chocolate. The taste is full-bodied, sweet and honeyed. The texture of the tea is velvety, and the aftertaste has a hint of plum sourness and bread crust.
A delicate but rich tea. It is enjoyable at any time of the day or year. It warms and relaxes.
