Hand-pressed Sheng Pu Erh, year of production 2003.
The aroma of the dry leaf is quite intense, smoky and tobacco-like, with sweet notes of dried fruits.
The bouquet of the finished tea is dense, complex, smoky, woody and resinous, passing into the freshness of apple and the sweetness of dried fruits.
The taste is buttery, with notes of woody resin, a slight herbal astringency and fruity sweetness. Long, pronounced aftertaste.
An excellent aged Sheng Pu Erh.
