The dry leaf is dark brown in colour with golden flecks and is pressed into a brick weighing 250 grams. The aroma is woody-cherry, plumy, with nutty notes and a distinct iodine smell. The infusion is dense and thick, with a slightly coarse cherry pit flavour.
The tea brews well "in the oil", leaving a soft, slightly sticky aftertaste of unripe walnuts. The tea is refreshing, tonic and invigorating without tremors. Good for daily consumption.
