Dark Wuyi Oolong tea is grown on the Bamboo Grove cliff, a narrow mountain valley located in a lowland area where precipitation carries minerals from the cliff rocks, local animal droppings and natural fertilisers. All of this accumulates in rich, moist soil, which is ideal for growing tea.
Sweet, bright, velvety chocolate aroma with roasted notes. When warmed, the tea acquires a complex aroma, changing from a thick sweetness to vegetable, baked, woody, balsamic notes with hints of leather and beans. The infusion is sweet, drinkable, medium-bodied, and moisturises the mouth, with sweetness lingering in the throat, on the tongue, teeth and palate. The aroma and aftertaste are persistent, with hints of vanilla and cream. The taste is smooth and rich, with a slight minerality. The tea seems to melt in the mouth, saturating the receptors and filling the mouth with flavour. The cup smells of salted caramel and toffee.
A very bright tea, open, with a rich content. It fills you with warmth and energy, balance and confidence, peace and clarity of mind, strength and desire to act.
