Lotus Peak is a picturesque summit in the northwestern part of the famous Wuyi Mountains, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains covered with tea gardens. Near the summit, on a cliff, is the Mystic Lotus Buddhist Monastery.
The dark, fairly large leaves with a turquoise sheen give off a bright aroma of flowers and fruits, spices and honey when warmed by breath. The infusion is dense, amber in colour with scarlet highlights. The taste is rich and rough, with sweet notes of spices, cinnamon, figs, raspberries, geranium and pastries, with a hint of orchid, mint and bergamot.
Tea slows down time and fills this precious moment with meaning. The desire to freeze and silently observe the beautiful.
