The aroma of the dry leaf is not typical for Northern Fujian oolongs of light heating: shades of prune, coffee beans and dark plum are felt. The heated leaf adds a little nutty sweetness and reveals more plum notes. The taste shows a slight heating, a green taste (on the first steeping), which is further hidden behind a floral-sweet tartness. The aroma of the bowl fills the entire space with its floral sweetness. The lid of the gaiwan is filled with aromas of creamy oiliness and macadamia nuts.
The tea intoxicates the body and refreshes the mind. An amazing, attentive oolong for those who seek bright aromas and tastes.
