Te Guan Yin Zheng Wei, AA, 2024

Classically processed Te Guan Yin variety: before fermentation, the leaves are damaged quite severely to ensure rapid oxidation. The fermentation process itself stops the day after the tea is harvested.

The buds are medium-sized, tightly twisted, dark green, and dull. The aroma of the dry tea is delicate, light, floral and fruity. The finished infusion is light yellow with a greenish rim, the taste is oily, thick, with notes of lilac, peach, vanilla and fruity acidity. The aftertaste is long, with floral and berry notes.
