Strongly heated oolong from North Fujian.
This variety of oolong got its name because the round tea leaf resembles an open palm, as well as the leaves of the lemon palm, a citrus plant also known as the Buddha palm.
The dry leaf is brownish-brown in colour with a sweet, rich, spicy aroma. The aroma of the heated leaf is reminiscent of roasted sunflower seeds, halva and freshly baked bread. The infusion is fiery amber in colour, transparent, with a delicate berry, citrus and honey aroma. The taste of the tea is rounded and rich, with berry, spicy and citrus sourness, revealing new facets with every sip. Sweet, long, juicy aftertaste.
The tea relaxes and collects your thoughts. It is well suited for thoughtful, meditative tea drinking.
