High-quality Ceylon tea, warmed with bergamot peel at the final stage of production. Thanks to this, the aromatic oils penetrate deep into the leaves and are gradually released during brewing, making the taste of the final product milder and less intense and sharp than Earl Grey.

The brown-black leaves, twisted into strands, look neat and uniform. The aroma is bright and strong — a bitter, juicy citrus scent of bergamot. When warmed by breathing through the bergamot, a slight tartness of the tea leaves comes through.

The reddish-orange infusion smells of bergamot and something spicy, like cloves or black pepper. The taste is distinctly citrusy, with a berry sourness. There is a slight tartness. The citrus flavour gradually diminishes with each infusion, but the aroma is quite persistent and lasts until the end of the tea session.

The tea warms and invigorates a little. Like any red tea, it is not recommended for drinking in the evening. A good choice for everyday tea drinking without unnecessary ceremony, if you like bergamot. It is good on its own or with something to nibble on.
