Tea figurines are companions of your tea ceremony. They are placed on the chaban, watered, and endowed with esoteric and practical meaning.

A tea figurine helps make your ceremony neater: the water you pour out of the dish does not splash on the chaban, but flows in a neat stream into the tray. In addition, you can put the lid of the gaiwan or teapot on the figurine so as not to leave it on a wet board.
